The Fiber optic light pad or backlight, is most useful when a shadow free background
is required. By adjusting the in-line aperture control it is simple to set the ratio of
background to foreground illumination. It is also often used for large transparent objects
like this stained and clarified fish that measures around 40.0 mm in length.
